3) Offpage Optimization - I hated the idea of writing articles, and put it off for months. Funny thing, I noticed almost instant results once I started writing articles. Now it's a big part of my organic SEO strategy. The reason are twofold: a) these articles create backlinks to my website and get propogated around the internet (creating more backlinks which Google loves), and 2) readers of my articles click on my website to get more information. So for 30 minutes of work, I get a large number of backlinks and direct clicks to my website. What a great investment of time.
4) Directory Submission - This is so simple to do that it's hard to believe more people don't do it. Take four hours and get your website listed. Or, you can hire someone to do it for you. It will make a huge difference in getting your website properly indexed in Google.
