Czech Republic is yet another country to have authorized the use of PPC-1000 Gigabit Ethernet links, even though only 74-76 & 84-86 GHz frequency licensed bands are available there for commercial use. The Law of General Authorization for radio frequency use and operation of fixed radio systems equipment in the 74-76 GHz and 84-86 GHz bands was passed by the Ministry of Telecommunication of the Czech Republic on April 21, to permit operating a station without individual authorization for the use of radio frequencies. An advantage of 74-76 & 84-86 GHz frequency band is the absence of mutual radio links interferential noise. Multipath reflections are non-existent at these frequencies, and the narrow beam width of the Cassegrain Antenna allows many radio links to work simultaneously in the same area. One condition of the Czech Authorization is that the radio systems (stations) may operate only with minimal antenna gain of 43 dBi and antenna input power of 30 dBm maximum.
