Submission - The act of supplying a URL to a search engine in an attempt to make a search engine aware of a website or page.

Traffic - The number of people that visit your webpage, being led there by your marketing campaigns. Traffic may be measured by hits, impressions, clicks, page views, visitors, unique visitors, or other indications of website activity.

Visibility - Measure of a website's ranking in search engines or directories.

URL - The Uniform Resource Locator is used to specify the address of web sites and web pages. Having keywords in the URL can improve the search engine ranking of the page in a few of the search engines.

Yahoo! - A search engine that returns results based on paid placement rather than algorithmic rankings. Yahoo! is often referred to as Overture.
